Cricket Australia Award
Four Victorian Premier Clubs Recognised for Premier Club Accreditation Scheme results
It is most pleasing that Footscray Cricket Club has again been awarded the best Premier Cricket Club in the country by Cricket Australia. The assessment and award has been running for two season and the Footscray Cricket Club have won it on both occasions.
There were 97 Premier Clubs covering all states and territories in Australia who participated in the assessment. The criteria included:-
coaching, performance, player development, playing and training facilities, culture, junior development, community engagement, volunteers, governance, administration finances, promotion,
communication, and fund raising.
There are so many dedicated volunteers and supporters who have all played their part in this fantastic achievement.

Jim as you know was a Legend of our Club in every sense of the word. He was inducted into our inaugural Hall of Fame two years ago and immediately elevated to Legend Status.
His contribution to the Footscray Cricket Club has been monumental.
Our sympathies go out to Nancy, Barry and Jeff.
What a wonderful friend and Bulldog cricket person.
